Growing up in a real estate development family business founded in the 1960's, Gerry moved to the USA and completed his MBA at Florida International University and began his professional career at Barnett Bank of South Florida in 1990. He returned to Jamaica and worked in tourism and later Citibank Jamaica, while also completing a Law Degree from the University of Wolverhampton via distance learning. Subsequently, he held senior positions in corporate and investment banking with Jamaican and global institutions, including National Australia Bank, National Commercial Bank Jamaica, and CIBC. In 2011, he was a founding member of BCW Capital, an investment bank which was a member of the Jamaica Stock Exchange and transitioned in 2015 to be a non-executive member of the Board.
New York based since 2015 with his family, Mr. Wight was later an Executive with CFSB where he managed a USD500 million commercial real estate loan portfolio. Then at CNB he led the Caribbean expansion of a US bank focused on correspondent banking, trade finance and international payments. He is currently a board member in ProFin, the first investment bank in Haiti and Chairman/ Co-Founder of Caribbean Investor Capital, a USD40 Million Private Equity Fund with investments in the energy, tourism, manufacturing and financial sectors.
Gerry founded Goodwill in 2014. The Company was inactive until the team saw an opportunity to use the Company as a platform to focus on the real estate sector.

He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Atlantic International University, a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Dartley University and a Diploma in Architecture from UTECH. Mr. Ferdinand Sappleton is a 20 year veteran in the construction industry. He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Atlantic International University, a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from Dartley University and a Diploma in Architecture from UTECH. He spent an early portion of his career on the team of Douglas Stiebel Architects, where he worked on numerous residential and commercial projects across the island, including the renovation of Carib Cineplex and design and site supervision for Sovereign Cineplex. Ferdinand has progressively developed a stellar reputation in the industry for highly technical civil works projects. Notably, he was the Consultant Civil Engineer and Site Manager for the BMR 3.3MW Wind Turbine, largely because of his internationally recognized knowledge and numerous certificates from the World of Concrete and World of Masonry and membership in the American Concrete Institute and American World of Construction Masonry. As Managing Director of Coast to Coast Design Builders Limited, his firm of architects, engineers, project managers and other construction professionals provide services to numerous private and public sector clients such as JPS, Red Stripe, WINDALCO and Juici Patties. He is very active in the sport of cricket and his Alma Mater, Glen Muir High School and is a recipient of the Governor General Youth Awards.
